In December 1977, the Mena House Conference was held between former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat US President Jimmy Carter, Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and representatives of the United Nations before the Camp David peace agreement between Egypt and Israel.
Mena House has 486 rooms and suites (7 small suites and 4 master suites each with a private balcony overlooking the pyramids).
