Welcome to Egypt , when you arrive in the airport my advice is to buy an Egyptian mobile number from inside the airport you will find mobile network providers vodafone, orange, etisalat and we , they have nearly the same bundle tourist line that give 20 minutes international call, 200 local call and 10g internet this bundle is less than $15.
then download uber app. this app is important so you can know how much to pay from one place to another even if you don't want to use it and you want a local taxi it's better to know the average price for the trip so you avoid being scammed and you can tell the taxi driver before you enter ( I am going to pay ..... pound) so it's a deal before you enter.
