Aqmar mosque is a mosque Alqahrh alfatmaya, there is this mosque in Street alnhacen was built by the son of the minister Almaamon Abataihy by order of the Kaliph Ahkam allah Abu Ali Mansour year 519 AH (1125 AD), the first mosque in Cairo has an entrance with a unique engineered design. Says Almqrizi that the mosque was built in the place of one of the monasteries which were called the well of greatness, because they contain the bones of some martyrs of the Copts. And called the mosque of that name because of the color of white stones that resemble the color of the moon.

أمس كان الاحتفال رأس السنه في الأهرامات بعنوان مصر تتلألأ

وتتحدث مصادر تاريخية عن أن المصريين القدماء كانوا أول من احتفل ببداية العام الجديد، وأقام المصريون القدماء مظاهر عدة للاحتفال ببداية العام الجديد حسب التقويم الفرعوني، منذ أكثر من 7500 سنة.

وأكد الدكتور عبد الرحيم ريحان، مدير عام البحوث والدراسات الأثرية والنشر العلمي لوجه بحري وسيناء بوزارة الآثار المصرية، في حديث لوكالة الأنباء الصينية "أن أقدم تقويم عرفته البشرية هو التقويم المصري القديم الذي كان المصريون القدماء يحتفلون ببدايته
