Dr. Hatem Zaghloul was born in Giza (7 February 1957), an Egyptian Canadian, known internationally for his research and inventions. The most important of these are his two joint ventures with his friend Dr. Michel Fattoush: Wideband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (WOFDM) and Multi-Code Direct-Sequence Spread Spectrum, Which Wi-Fi technology built on allows high-speed wireless connectivity between some electronic devices (such as personal computers and mobile phones).
